My BABY is ONE!!!

MY TYTAN IS ONE!!!

Where did the time go? How did my life go from this...

TO this...

SO QUICKLY!!!!
Oh but what a fun little guy he is! We really have enjoyed Tytan! He is so sweet, and cute! He is getting SO big! He now will wave and say hi and bye and he says, uh oh,and ball and every now and then he sings along to twinkle twinkle little star he sings... UP ABA (up above) When I tell him "I love you" he will lean over and kiss me! He loves balls and will throw them and crawl after them all around the house. He also really loves cars and trucks and pushes them all over. He has been close to walking since about 8 months but he is too chicken to let go. He has taken a few steps here and there but won't do it all the time. I think I Am THANKFUL for the that! He loves swinging at the park and is just the happiest kid! For his birthday we invited our families over to play and have dinner at the park. It really was so much fun! He shares a birthday with his cousin Emily who just turned two! HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY!! Since it was both their birthdays I made Two cakes a boy bear cake and a girl bear cake!
Hey they turned out ok. We know tytan liked his cake, but Emily... Well we let the neighbor kids eat it the next day!
Also remember this...
This was Tytan 6 days old with his cousin Savannah when she was just born. Well this is them now

Can you believe Tytan is BIgger! Good thing... You can't have a name like TYTAN and be smaller then your girly cousin! :)
Anyways, here are some pics of the fun party!

OK maybe I will just do a slide show...

CABIN FUN

Over Memorial Day we went and spent sometime with my folks up at their cabin in Mount Pleasant. It was a short trip, but such a fun little get away. Katelin has been bugging us forever to go to grandpa's cabin and so we finally did. She descibes our trip in nutshell, by the way she asks us to go back... "can we pack our jammas and go to the cabin and sleep and have blueberry pancakes and go on the wheelers?" YEah that is about it. But I have to say that memorial day was a perfect day for 4 wheeling. There was no dust and everything was so green and beautiful! It was lots of fun!

MEGA POST to catch up!

MY latest HOme Improvement projects are pretty much done, I am just waiting for the baseboards and trim to get put up. But Here is what I did... (This is for Laura she has been bugging me to post this so she can see finish products)
I Hated my closet it was just a small closet that couldn't fit all mine and clays clothes. My room was a funny shape with a little useless area... So We knocked out the old closet and we put a wall up to in the useless area and made it into a walk in closet. I love it! I have so much more closet space and that make me happy! (It is funny because my room feels bigger because the old closet made it really closed off.) Ok now I also needed a bigger pantry for food storage so I put our winter coats in the walkin closets and made a little welcome area by my back door and put a rack up to hang the jackets that we are currently using. And finally my brother helped me build shelves in my coat closet so I can use that as a pantry. It was a lot of Crazy ideas, but I am happy with all of it.
USeless space before...
My bedroom after...

My new closet...

My Back entry...

My new pantry...

Easter was fun! We had lots of Easter egg hunts and it was great! We actually celebrated it two weeks in a row because my parents were on a cruise for Easter! No fair huh! But here are some pictures...

Katelin started dance lessons. She loves to dance and she is pretty good at it. I am really excited to have her doing something fun that will channel all her energy for good!

Over spring break we went down to Mesquite to see our good friends the Bunkers! We miss them... They used to live so close(in the basement apartment) and now they are too far away, but we love to see them when ever we get a chance.

Timpview High had a fund raiser for their ballroom dance team they had a "Dancing with the Teachers" kind of like Dancing with the Stars. Clay had been asked to participate and had been learning the paso doble. He would come home and show me his moves and he even said we should take a ballroom dance class! Wouldn't that be fun!! So last night we went and watched his performance. He did pretty dang good job for a guy that doesn't dance and Katelin LOVED IT! He didn't win, but he was definately the BEST LOOKING!!! I think he would kill me if I posted the dance, so here are the only still pictures I got...

PICTURE UPDATE

So I thought I would just do a little update and show some of the cute things that my kids have done lately.
Katelin likes to dress herself. She changes her clothes three or four times a day and it becomes quite a chore for me just to make sure that she isn't wearing something that makes her look like an orphan child. Here is the outfit she chose to wear on this particular day.

Ty is seriously the sweetest little thing. He really loves his mommy he will cuddle with me and laughs at me. He thinks his daddy is pretty funny too. and he adores his sister. YOu can just see it in his face as he watches her, he thinks that she is something else!

This was so funny! Tytan kept making funny faces through the play pin by pushing his face up against it. He would laugh so hard it was so funny!

So I decided to give Tytan a hair cut because well as you can see he was starting to get little wings and they would never stay down so here he is happy and cute Before his hair cut.

And here he is after... Still happy and cute! Actually there isn't much difference but least there are no little side wings!

Katelin's hair cut and more...

OK the other day I found Katelin in her room playing with scissors. I said, "What are you doing with those scissors!?" Then she says, "I am cutting my hair." I then noticed the beautiful locks of hair on the floor and let out a deathly scream! HER BEAUTIFUL HAIR!!! I was devastated. I tried to calm down and decide what to do. I gave her a bath to wash her hair and assess the damage. I knew Katelin liked Hannah Montana but I never thought she would have a hair do like BIllY RAY CIRUS!!!! MY child has a Mullet!!! I had her look in the mirror to show her what she had done and that was a big mistake... SHE THOUGHT SHE LOOKED BEAUTIFUL and here are the pictures to prove it.

YES SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS A SUPER MODEL!!!
Anyway the good part of the story is that I am able to part her hair and do a little comb over and then you don't notice the mullet so much.
Alright the next story is my little nephew Bryce turned 4 and he had a really fun birthday party. It was a star wars party and they did Jedi Training! My Brother-in-law did a whole production like Disneyland. Darth vader came and everything. Unfortunately most of the little kids were 4 and under so when Darthvader came they all got really scared and some of them started to cry. It was really funny! But Katelin had lots of fun. She was the little Princess laya! My other nephew Riley would have loved this party he is seven and the other day his mom asked him if he would like to play soccer or baseball this year and he said, "I think I want to do Jedi knight Training." Oh my!!!
The weather has been so nice lately. I think that we have been to the park everyday this week. Tytan loves the swing! I love this time of year. I feel like I have been hibernating and it feels so nice to get outside. Anyway the other day we went with Grandma and Grandpa and all the cousins to the park and it was lots of fun!

I haven't been blogging lately because my house is a wreck! Yes, I am up to one of my home remodeling kicks again. I have been so busy trying to get it all done before my husband starts golfing again. We are almost all finished, I will post my home improvements when I get all done.
