ROCKIN' AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE!

We had our Annual Family Christmas party with Santa Claus and All. IT was a lot of fun. We went Caroling and Had a little nativity production and then Santa Claus came. Katelin was actually really excited to see Santa, but never wants to sit on his lap. So fat old momma has to break poor Santa's knees every time. Oh well!

OUR LITTLE GET AWAY!

Clay and I celebrated our 5 year Anniversary this weekend. It was a blast. Our real Anniversary isn't until the 21st but we just decided this was a good time to get away. We went up to Park City and stayed in the Westgate resort at the Canyon's. It was great we had a night free with 50 bucks for dinner from one of those, listen to us try to sell you something and we will give you a gift. We went to this restaurant at the hotel that the 50 bucks and it was really a joke everything was like $25 a plate and their wasn't anything good to choose. Anyway it ended up being a disgusting meal that cost 70 bucks and that is for two people who didn't even order drinks or an appetizer. I think if dinner is going to cost you that much whether or not you have a gift card for 50 dollars it better taste good!!! Anyway other then dinner we had a blast. We went skiing at the canyons and it was heavenly. It has been a while since I went snowboarding, but I loved it. It was all powder and beautiful! (so when clay fell over and over it didn't hurt as bad:)) We really had a fun time. Oh and Clay surprised me with a Anniversary band to go with my wedding ring. I love it, And I love you Clay!! Happy Anniversary, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me!

AS YOU CAN SEE WE ARE A FAMILY OF THREE... BUT WE ARE ADDING ONE MORE TO MAKE A FAMILY OF FOUR!!

Yes it is true, The Binghams are having another baby. I am just over 14 weeks prego and feeling it! I am due June 2nd. It seems a little crazy to be having another child when I can't control the one that I have, but We are excited. I think that Katelin will be a good Sister. She loves babies and wants to take her baby doll everywhere she goes so even though she doesn't quite get it yet, I think that she will be happy to have a sibling. So anyway there is our latest news.

DANIEL WOULD KILL ME!!!

In celebration of BYU's win on Saturday against the UofU. Here is a little clip of Danny doing the Haka(spelling?) For those that don't know about this. The BYU football team does this war dance before all their games. One time we talked Daniel into doing it for us and he didn't know, but I taped it. Sorry DAN!

KATELIN IS 2!!!

Katelin turned two today! It was a weekend of celebrations. We had a fun little birthday party with all her closest friends. (Her cousins, aunts and Uncles and grandparents) We had a Winnie the POOH party, where we had a cakewalk, played tigger, tigger, POOH and pin the tail on Eyore. It was all really fun. It was kind of out of control with all the little kids running around, but Katelin had a blast! On Saturday Night we took Katelin for a little night on the town. We went to The Mayan resturant and met Leah, Garritt and Drew for a little fun. The kids loved watching the people diving in the water. Today for her actual birthday Clay made Katelin a mickey mouse pancake for breakfast, we let her open presents and then we went to church. Overall I think Katelin had a lot of fun. And it was fun celebrating with her. I just can't believe it has been two years since she came into our lives. She has been quite a handfull, but so much fun. We love watching her grow and learn all the new things that she has been learning and just watching her Cute personality show. We are so BLESSED!!

RAIN, SNOW or SHINE!!!

A couple weeks ago we went to The BYU game and it was the best game ever! YES #86 ROCKED THE FIELD!!! I loved IT! Daniel has been playing a little on Special teams (Punt Return) but I can never see him on TV Because they just don't focus in. But at this home game I saw him with my very own eyes and he was Awesome!! He flattened his guys like pancakes and even helped block a punt which got us to the 50 yard line. But this game was even better because fourth quarter he played the whole time on offense. YES It did SNOW!!! But I didn't feel cold because my little brother was playing football! IT Was THE GReATEST GAME I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! IT even beats back in the day when Ty Detmer was playing. So RA RA RA FOR DANNY BOY!!!

Harvest Moon Hurrah!

This weekend our City held the 3rd Annual Harvest Moon Hurrah. It was a lot of fun. They have pony rides and hayrides and fun activities for little kids. They have dinner that is $1 per person and some entertainment too. We went last year and had fun so this year we didn't want to miss it. All the activities were free you just had to wait in line. We waited in line for the pony rides for like 20 minutes and then Katelin didn't want to ride the little pony when we got up there. oh well! We still had fun.

FACE LIFT!

So This probably isn't that impressive, but I was happy with the results. I wanted to get some bookcases to go on either side of my fire place. I found these matching cabinets at a yard sale and bought them for 5 bucks each. They obviously needed a little face lift so I got out my favorite can of Spray Paint and worked my magic...

IT is amazing what a little paint can do!

HIDDEN BEAUTY!!

As some of you know, Clay and I bought his Grandparents old house in March. We just love it and think it is such a cute little house. However there was one thing that I just couldn't get over... When you first enter our house there is this big beautiful room, but it has the most "unusual" green carpet you have ever seen. I am sure that color carpet would have been popular in it's day, but well it wasn't working for me. I tried everything that I could think of to make it look like I did it on purpose, I got a really big rug that kind of went with the color and then I accented the room with pillows that matched,

BUT I COULD NEVER LOVE IT!!!!
I realized there was wood floor under the carpet, but I didn't know what kind of shape it was in. So One day when Clay wasn't home to stop me, I pulled up all this UGLY green and discovered the most beautiful hard wood floor!!! It has taken a while but this week Clay and I just finished refinishing our floor!!!!

OK THIS IS BEFORE...

AND NOW!!!!

What do you think? Is it an improvement?
WELL I LOVE IT!
Now I can't wait to put my new furniture in it!

GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS!!

Today I was made the 1st counselor in the young womens. I was actually also released today from being the Laural advisor. (THANK HEAVENS!!) I love my sweet laurals, but they were just a handful and well quite frankly I am thankful to have a little less drama in my life. Katelin is already drama queen of the world, but try adding 10 more to my list and well Crazy defines it pretty good. You probably are thinking oh they can't be that bad, but well maybe I should share a story about the joys of being a young women leader in my ward. For Stake Youth Conference we spent some time up at the State Hospital in Provo playing on the ropes course. That was really awesome and we had a lot of fun, but I think some of us had more fun than others... There was a fountain just up the hill not hidden or anything but a little out of the way and We had a couple of our girls who decided that it would be fun to go for a swim. So they stripped down to their underwear and went for a little dip!! Maybe I am a prude but we were in mixed company and with the stake. I was so mortified! I guess their parents didn't think that it was that big of deal the general response from them is girls will be girls!! However if it had been me I think my butt would still be aching from the kick in pants I would have gotten. Oh well it turned out OK we took the girls the next day to Snow College and we had a blast there. We played water games and had firesides and a dance. It has been a couple months but I still have people from all over town asking me about the girls in our ward that they heard about who took a swim in their panties at the MENTAL HOSPITAL ! This is just a small portion of the excitement I have experienced with my Laurals. What can I say, I love them and I hope that their new leader can help them keep THEIR CLOTHES ON!!!!

Sleepy Katelin

Lately Katelin has been falling asleep in the weirdest places and positions. She is so stubborn when it is time for a nap she just will not go to bed. But obviously she is just so tired.

ONION DAYS and MORE

We have had quite the fun filled week! I went to Daniels BYU game and saw the cougars 1st home game on Saturday. It really wasn't that fun though because It was so DANG hot!! I can't handle this heat so I just keep hoping for Fall to kick in. We celebrated the Annual Payson ONION DAYS!!! Sorry to all who missed out. We went to the parade and then to Grandma Nona's for some good eats. It was alot of fun, but Clay's favorite part was probably when I got him out of bed early to hit the Doorbuster sale at RC WILLEY. Now to add to the fun I have adopted four little rag muffins and 1 dog for the night While Julie and Adam are in California visiting Grandma M. These kids are cute, but boy do Julie and Adam owe me!!!

Monday, August 27, 2007

The other day I found Katelin on top of the table doing a little dance. What can I say she has natural talent :) I can tell she is probably going to be a dancer because she has always loved dancing. I got Dance Dance revolution for my birthday and she loves it. (Almost as much as I do!) She will go over to the cupboard where it is at and say "dance, dance" so we'll will get it out and play. Hopefully it will help her skills.

MEET THE TEAM DAY!!!

Alright let me be honest... we are not really BYU FANS, Most of you probably new that, however we are BIG DANIEL fans so therefore for the next 4 years you will see me shouting and cheering for the BYU COUGAR FOOTBALL TEAM!!! Katelin and I went to the meet the team night at BYU with Jamie and Brad and their kids. We had a good old time! We got some autographs and A picture or two with our Favorite player.... #86! GO DANIEL YOU ROCK!!

THE SUMMERS END

Summer is officially over for the Bingham family!
Clay went back to school today to teach Spanish for his second year at TIMPVIEW High School.
GO T-BIRDS!!! IT has been quite the summer for us with a little bit of fun, but mostly lot of crazyness. Clay went back to school to become a Drivers ed instructor. (He was always some what of a back seat driver but NOW well you can just imagine!!!) He also stayed home and played Mr. Mom for a couple months while I have been filling in alot at the Dentist office. I am excited to get back to my 2 half days of dental hygiene and my all the time with Katelin. Although Katelin and I don't always see EYE TO EYE, I have missed her and I know she has missed me. So ADIOS TO Summer,Bring on the FALL!!
